1ST ARAB CONFERENCE ON ASTRONOMY AND GEOPHYSICS
Vues : 437

The Arab conference on Astronomy and geophysics will be organized bi-annually. The name of the conference is made so that it can be organized under the umbrella of the League of Arab States and can be held only in one of the Arab countries.  However, participation is open for astronomers and geophysicists from Arab countries as well as any other part of the globe. Among many other objectives of the conference, the main objectives are:

To foster, deepen and strengthen the relation among astronomers and geophysicists in Arab world through joint research work, joint research projects, exchange of learned lessons, conducting training courses, workshops and creating network for on-line data exchange on natural phenomenon.
To encourage Arab scientists in both fields to integrating their efforts in contributing to the advancement and progress of astronomy and geophysics through active cooperation among each others as well as other scientists from any other part of the world.
